The COVID-19 global pandemic has rewritten the plans of the Gelior team just like for many other players in the jewelry industry. We were planning to host a special event during the JA New York show: a conference which aimed to introduce our marketplace.
As more and more people are forced to stay home and fulfill everyday tasks using the Internet, we decided to redesign the event and convert it into an online conference (November 5th, 2020 – 2 pm EST).
Update: unfortunately, the event has been suspended due to the coronavirus threat. Most jewelry shows have been suspended or canceled too.
A special event is taking place at the JA jewelry show, organized by the Gelior team. We are inviting all jewelry companies who are interested in technology and what the future holds in this regard.
This conference is about the changes that technology and the virtual space will bring to the jewelry industry in the near future. Gelior – being an innovative marketplace – will be bringing new ways of selling, buying and networking.
VicenzaOro show is labeled as one of the biggest jewelry shows in Europe – for good reason. We were amazed at how well-organized it was. The 6-day event was definitely a great place for networking.
The show was truly international; companies from the Middle-East to Asia and of course from Europe were represented in a high number.
JMA Hong Kong show was a debut event for Gelior: it was the first time when we met with the potential users of our jewelry marketplace and presented them the platform.
It was great to talk to people with a long history in the jewelry industry. They shared their thoughts about our platform and they gave new ideas on how to develop it further.
JMA Hong Kong is an international jewelry show organized annually by the Hong Kong Jewelry Manufacturers’ Association (HKJMA). With over 1500 exhibitors JMA is one of the largest jewelry shows in Asia.
